SPICY THAI NOODLES

If you want to improve your workday dinner routine, you should try this spicy Thai noodles! This recipe uses ordinary ingredients every day and turns them into spicy dishes that you will definitely love!

Most of the things I make are for families, for dinner ... but sometimes I make something just for my husband, for lunch at work. This Spicy Thai Noodle is a good example. πŸ™‚ They are waaaaay too spicy for families, but perfect for them. This noodle is very simple to make but it packs an amazing taste!

Whatever was spicy was at the end of my husband's alley, but he actually found this on Pinterest and I adapted the recipe to his taste. And of course, I want to share it with you allπŸ˜€

There are no special noodles to look for in grocery stores, only linguine, fettuccine, or spaghetti. Amazing is not it? It also uses ingredients that you might already have in your kitchen and fridge!

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR MAKING SPICY THAI NOODLES:
Know what level of heat you can handle! There are a large number of red peppers listed in the recipe because I want you to be able to adjust them to your taste. Be careful, using 1 - 1 1/2 Tbsp will make the spicy really spicy!
These Thai noodles can be served hot, at room temperature or cold, so they are very versatile.
Decoration! Usually, garnishes are optional and sort of take it or leave it a situation ... for this recipe they really enhance the taste and make it taste better, so try if you can.
Any long pasta can be used here. I use linguine because that's what I have, but spaghetti, fettuccine, angel hair, etc. will work.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. linguine pasta (or spaghetti fettuccine, etc.)
  • 1/2 - 1 1/2 Tbsp red pepper flakes (the amount depends on how hot you want it)
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1/3 - 1/2 cup roasted sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp chili
  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 6 tablespoons of honey
  • Carrot leeks, peanuts, coriander, sriracha, and sesame seeds for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cut decoration and set aside.
  2. Boil pasta, drain.
  3. When the pasta boils, heat the oil in a large skillet with flakes of red peppers.
  4. After the oil is hot, strain the pepper flakes, leaving the oil in a bowl. Add the spare oil back to the pan and add the chili paste. Beat soy sauce and honey.
  5. Stir the pasta in the pan with sauce.
  6. It can be served hot, room temperature or cold. Decorate with decoration and enjoy!
